I would call my style….freestyle, if there is such a thing.  I am not your traditional photographer!  Instead of directing I like to observe.  This allows me to capture individuality. I strive to produce unique, personal and, one of kind images.  As a mother myself, I know that the moments that melt your heart are those of natural expressions.    The way he raises his right eyebrow when he is pretending to be a pirate,  or the sassy look she makes when she is trying to be all grown up.  Those are the moments that make your stomach flutter and those are the moments I want to capture!  I want you to look at your photographs in years to come and remember your child's unmatched spirit.

Dejah gives God all the credit for her talent and ability.  She acknowledges His power, grace and unconditional love in her life and is grateful that He allows her to do what she loves. She deeply loves what she does and does it with her whole heart but it always comes second to her true calling being a wife and mother. Her family inspires her on a daily basis.  While Dejah's style may seem simple, she uses artistic methods like close crops, selective focus, film grain, color tinting and other edgy techniques to create one of a kind keepsakes for her clients. She does not flow with the norm of perfectly composed photos. Her work is considered fine art photography.  Her goal is to find the essence of each child she photographs and create a unique art piece.  Dejah caters mostly to those who want an alternative to the traditional posed portraits. Every image presented to her clients is mastered to it's full potential.  Dejah does not ever present proofs only finished images.
